Flipping with 10m to 100m gp
What changes when your bank grows: buy limits start to bind, GE slots matter, and one item should not hold everything. A checklist for mid-sized banks.

Somewhere between 10m and 100m gp, flipping changes. With a small bank you run out of gp before you run out of good items. With a bigger one, you run out of buy limits first: the cheap, fast items you started on cannot take more gp, so the rest sits idle unless you change what you trade.
Buy limits start to bind
An item with a buy limit of 100 that sells for 10,000 gp can only take 1m gp every 4 hours. To put 50m to work you need either many items at once or items where one buy limit holds tens of millions of gp. The table below shows how much gp each of today's top flips can hold in one window.
| Item | Margin | Buy limit | Per 4h |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dragon crossbow | 13,072 gp | 70 | 248k gp |
| Toxic staff (uncharged) | 631k gp | 8 | 631k gp |
| Avantoe | 47 gp | 13,000 | 280k gp |
| Grimy avantoe | 45 gp | 13,000 | 281k gp |
| Snape grass | 13 gp | 13,000 | 103k gp |
Qty per 4h is the lowest of the buy limit, a share of what trades in 4 hours, and a 10m bankroll.
Use every slot
Members get 8 Grand Exchange slots and free-to-play accounts get 3. With a mid-sized bank, the slots are often the real limit. Fill them with a mix: a few high-volume items that fill quickly and a few slower, higher-margin ones.
Do not put it all in one item
Higher-priced items have bigger margins in gp, but a single bad move costs more too. Offerbook lowers the rank of a flip when one unit costs more than a quarter of your bankroll, because a single fill then decides most of your result. Spreading gp over several items is slower but much steadier.
A checklist for this range
- Set your bankroll on the Economy page, so quantities match what you can afford.
- Look for items where the buy limit, not volume, caps the quantity.
- Prefer margins that have held for most of the day.
- Check your offers at least every 4 hours, when limits reset.
- Keep a record of your fills in the Journal so you see profit after tax, not just what margins promised.
The Screener can filter by price and volume to find items that suit this bank size. See also how buy limits work.
Offerbook is gp only and has nothing to do with real-world trading. Prices move, so nothing here is a promise of profit. Every trade is one you make yourself in game.
