GE tax removed (estimate)

An estimate, not a Jagex figure: every observed trade's units times the tax on its average price, both sides, with tax-exempt items left out.

~65.4b gpestimated, on 4.03t gp of taxed trades. 94.4b gp traded in exempt items paid none.

Method: the OSRS Wiki's five-minute data counts the trades RuneLite players saw, so the true total is higher than what is observed here. For each item, the day's insta-buy units are taxed at their average price and the insta-sell units at theirs: 2%, rounded down per item, capped at 5m gp, nothing under 50 gp, and nothing on the exempt list. Exempt items

How this report is made: written automatically from the OSRS Wiki real-time prices API once the UTC day ends, from the five-minute snapshots Offerbook stores. Risers and fallers need at least 500 units and 25m gp traded on the day, the same filter as Pulse. All values are gp. Nothing here is advice.
